Use of ACI infrastructures

Reservation for the following rooms is now mandatory:

  • ELE 016 (ELE 046) Self-service PCB Lab (Laboratoire d’initiation)
  • ELE 032 Prototyping room (electronic)

The reservation must be made using the address [email protected] and must contain the following information:

  • Date
  • Time and duration.
  • # of participants ( a max of 3 is allowed at the same time in a room)
  • Unit and/or name of Interdisciplinary project

Rooms are only accessible Monday to Friday from 8h30 to 16h30
Access is only valid after receiving confirmation from ACI

Reminder: Access to both rooms are only possible after having followed the dedicated training given by ACI
All participants must follow the “ACI workshop – Health and safety rules and guidelines” document

Simple or multi-layer PCB design and layout, prototyping, assembly, PCB manufacturing, photo laser tracing, manufacture of thin parts of various materials such as epoxy, copper alloy, etc.

ACI is a partner of the technical workshop platform (PAT) of the STI Faculty and is a key and unique element within EPFL. It offers its skills and capacities to all faculties of the school to support the various works of doctorates, research projects both internal and European and of course to all our students.

A training course is also provided, allowing them to carry out by themselves simple PCB’s in our Self-Service PCB Lab.

Our proximity and flexibility is very appreciated by our customers, because it allows last minute corrections and modifications during manufacturing.
