The laser cutting machine is controlled by a test access control system that works with the CAMIPRO EPFL card.
After a test period of 6 months, this system as well as the practical training courses could be duplicated on other machines at SKIL or in other areas at EPFL.
Training sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.15PM and are given by SKIL student assistants. Registration is required (8 people per course). Training is compulsory, as the machine is controlled by a CAMIPRO access control system.
