Hugo Dictus is a junior scientific programmer in the Cells and Circuits team in the Simulation Neuroscience Division.
He focuses on coordinating refinement and validation of models, automating the validation process and, providing programming and mathematical support to scientists and engineers.
Hugo has a Bachelor’s of Science (Major: Physics) from Amsterdam University College and a Masters in Computational Science from the University of Amsterdam & VU Amsterdam. His thesis with Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour was on encoding deep predictive network error signals as fMRI responses in visual brain areas.
Outside of work, he likes reading, travelling, recreational programming, gaming and game design and martial arts training.
