Blue Brain at Geneva’s Nuit des Musees

The Blue Brain Project is delighted to be taking part in Geneva’s Nuit des Musées on Saturday 20 May 2017.

The goal of the Blue Brain Project is to build biologically detailed digital reconstructions and simulations of the rodent, and ultimately the human brain.

The Supercomputer-based reconstructions and simulations built by the project offer a radically new approach for understanding the multilevel structure and function of the brain.

As part of the Campus Biotech’s activities, Blue Brain will explain how we pursue our goal and the role of the Super computer. Our programme includes a short presentation by a Blue Brain Scientist, the chance to watch our 3D movie and walk through our exhibition.

Scientists from Blue Brain will be on hand throughout the evening to answer any questions in French or English.

We look forward to welcoming guests from 5pm to 11pm.
