[Oct 2011]: CNN presents world-wide as research innovation on personal health wearable devices the new smart real-time arrhythmia detection sensor node with iPhone interface that ESL has developed in cooperation with TCL.

[May 2011]: The real-time personal wearable ECG delineation system of ESL both on an iPhone and a Nintendo DS was included as part of this video of Television Suisse Romande (TSR) about the Guardian Angels FET project, where ESL is one of the EPFL laboratories participating as core partners.

[May 2011]: ESL and the Institute of EE at EPFL organized the 21st Edition of the ACM/IEEE Great Lakes VLSI Symposium (GLSVLSI 2011) at the EPFL Campus, which was a success with more than 140 attendees!

[April 2011]: ESL-EPFL made it to the main page of the EPFL with the educational article: “The Nintendo DS: an unlikely teaching aid!“, which explains how the new microprogrammed embedded systems course in EE by Prof. David Atienza uses the Nintendo DS videogame console to teach students how to make advanced system-level designs and games.
