Vipul Gupta (2015)

Internship project topic:

Efficient sampling and compression of ensembles of intracortical EEG signals

Biography

During his internship at LIONS, Vipul Gupta was a fourth year B.tech student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He joined LIONS as a research intern in the summer of 2015. His primary research interests include signal processing, optimization and machine learning. In LIONS, he was working on real-time low-power compression of ensembles of intracortical EEG signals and their recovery. He is now a PhD student at UC Berkeley/USA.
