Biography

Since October 2020, Kamal works as a Senior Research Associate in Safe and Ethical AI at the Turing Institute. He was a postdoctoral researcher at LIONS. Kamal obtained his honours degree (B.Sc (Hons)) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2013. From February 2014 to May 2017, he was a Ph.D. student in the Research School of Computer Science at the Australian National University. He was also attached to the Analytics program of Data61.
