The number of chemistry journals and publications is continuously increasing, and it is impossible for a single scientist to keep up. Therefore at LCSO we do it as a team. A few key journals are read by everybody (Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Chemical Science, Nature Chemistry, Organic Letters), and then the others are ordered in batches, monitored by a group member. Each week on Friday, the person responsible will send a short list of the top publications from his/her batch of journals, of course somewhat oriented by the research interests of our group. Since 2020, each group member selects one particularly outstanding contribution for highlighting. Among them, Jerome makes a selection of the five he finds most interesting for the #LCSOJournalClub on the group tweeter account Waser Group@LcsoLab. Nature and Science articles cannot be selected, as they are anyway well visible.
