September 1: Our collaborative work on photochemical functionalization of heterocycles with the Kokotos group started by Erikka during her visit supported by the COST CHAOS action with Marion has now appeared in Chemistry A European Journal ( DOI: 10.1002/chem.202002868).

June 16: The last work of Nina on the Umpolung of enol ethers to access oxy-allyl cation equivalents with hypervalent iodine reagents is now just accepted in Angewandte Chemie (DOI: 10.1002/anie.202006707).

May 1: The last work of Guillaume and Alec on the copper-catalyzed oxyvinylation of diazo compounds with VBX reagents is now just accepted in Organic Letters (DOI: 10.1021/acs.orglett.0c01150).
April 29: Phillip Greenwood successfully defended his PhD thesis. He is the fourteenth PhD student to obtain his degree at LCSO. Congratulations!
April 22: Second COVID bilateral online group meeting of LCSO, this time with the groups of Prof. Maurizio Prato at Trieste and San Sebastian.
April 1: The first bilateral online group meeting of LCSO with the Noel Group at TU Eindhoven has taken place.
April 1: The last work of Romain, Raj and Javier on ethynylation of cysteine is now accepted in Angewandte Chemie (DOI: 10.1002/anie.202002626). This was a highly successful collaboration with the Biofunctional Chemistry group at the University of Strasbourg and the Adibekian group at Scripps Florida.
March 31: The traditional LCSO Spring Group Photo this year unfortunately via Zoom due to COVID.
March 25: The first organic seminar online has taken place with Prof. Song Lin from Cornell University.
March 19: The last work of Guillaume and Alec on the three component reaction of alcohols, diazo compounds and EBX reagents is now accepted in Chemistry a European Journal (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202001317)!
March 16: Due to the expanding COVID-19 pandemics, LCSO labs are closed for an unknown time.
