Uri Wegman is an architect and educator. He holds a a B.Arch. from the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at the Cooper Union, and a Masters degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). Before establishing his practice, Uri was a project architect at Matthew Baird Architects in New York and the studio director of Sarah Oppenheimer’s studio. Uri has taught at the Cooper Union and lead workshops at Aarhus school of architecture,the Drawing Center in New York and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels. His work has been exhibited and published at The New York Times, Journal of Architectural Education, Storefront for Art and Architecture, among others. He has been an invited review juror at the GSAPP of Columbia University, Cornell University, Pratt Institute, University of Pennsylvania and others. He is currently building a public memorial to the victims of the Triangle Fire in Manhattan.
