Nikhil Calas is a French architect and carpenter, he co-founded the architecture practice “faire”, which he runs with architect and researcher Federico Diodato in Paris. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville and Chalmers UT. His research focuses on “Learning through making: capacitation and transmission through the practice of making”, research he developed during the post-master Recherches en architecture” he completed at ENSA Paris La Villette in 2021. He is the vice-president of the French union “le Syndicat de l’Architecture” and joined the ALICE team in 2023 as a studio director.
