Public Transportation:
Geneva Airport (GVA) is the closest airport to EPFL, around 45-60 minutes. The airports of Basel and Zurich are approximately 2h30 away from Lausanne. From the train station in Lausanne (Lausanne Gare) you can take the Lausanne Metro to get to EPFL in two steps:
1. ‘Lausanne Gare’ to ‘Lausanne Flon’ on the M2 line towards Croisettes.
2. ‘Lausanne Flon’ to ‘EPFL’ on the M1 line towards Renens.
The Metro line M2 also reaches EPFL from the station at Renens, which some trains coming from Geneva Airport stop at. In this case you do not need to change on the Metro, but the journey may take a little longer, depending on your train.
By Car:
On the motorway driving towards Lausanne, follow directions towards ‘Lausanne Sud’ and take the exit ‘UNIL / EPFL’. Once you reach EPFL, follow directions towards the parking garage ‘Rolex Center’.
Once you arrive to EPFL:
