
The SV Infrastructure Unit manages and oversees the purchase orders for scientific equipment over CHF 5,000 for all laboratories within the SV School. Procedures
The equipment purchasing procedures vary depending on the amount and the type of funds used for the acquisition. We encourage you to review the document below (french version) before initiating any equipment purchase request. It outlines the main steps and recommendations to ensure your request complies with EPFL’s guidelines and the specific requirements of the SV School.
Note: When requesting quotes from suppliers, we encourage you to provide them with a copy of the General Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Goods, so that the quotes received comply with EPFL requirements, particularly regarding warranty and export Incoterms.
