Subject: Knowledge Management and Business Processes, how they influence each other.

The cafe brought together 19 participants, mostly from SME’s but also from international organizations and academia. The optimal number of participants in a round table is about 20.

Pavel Kraus, President of the Swiss Knowledge Management Forum (SKMF) gave a short presentation on the work of the organization (SKMF).Many people who received the invitation couldn’t join us but expressed an interest in future events.

The discussion on knowledge management and its relationship to business processes was lively and ran until 9pm rather than 8pm as was planned.

The feedback we received after the event was very positive. Participants expressed the opinion that the free discussions of the round table were very interesting and that they were more valuable than tool demonstrations or presentations. We will therefore maintain the same format for future round tables. Some participants indicated a desire to learn more about Knowledge Management, a subject that is not familiar to everybody.
Our many thanks to all the participants.
