Based on the OERPUB Aloha Editor, DHWriter aims at providing a web text editor tailored for writing conference abstracts in Digital Humanities.

The editor currently features:

  • GUI for equations edition (based on MathJax)
  • Import in HTML, XML/TEI and PDF formats
  • Convenient references edition featuring automatic formatting and autocompletion

It is based upon several open-source projects, namely:

  • jQuery-Tags-Input
  • MathJax
  • oerpub / Aloha Editor
  • oauth-php

The code is freely provided here and can be reused/modified within the limitations of their respective licences.
