Courses Foundations of digital humanities (english) This course gives an introduction to the fundamental concepts and methods of the Digital Humanities, both from a theoretical and applied point of view. The course introduces the Digital Humanities circle of processing and interpretation, from data acquisition to new understandings. Digital humanities (french) Digital Humanities is a discipline at the crossroads of the information sciences and the humanities and social sciences. In this course, students discover this field of research by learning how to extract information from a large collection of historical newspapers. Press and digital history I (french) Press and digital history II (french) At the crossroads of digital history, media and public history, this course focuses on the production, dissemination and conservation of information. Students will learn to take a critical look at the evolution of the media sphere through time and will be introduced to scientific mediation.
