A two-day hike on the Crètes du Jura
On 10 and 11 July 2024, a two-day hike along the Crêtes du Jura, with an overnight stay at the Hôtel du Marchairuz. The Crêtes du Jura trail forms an arc linking the two major cities of Zurich and Geneva (signposted since 1905).
The hike begins at the village of Le Pont (Lac de Joux), and the route then takes you over the Col de Marchairuz to the top of Mont Tendre, the highest point in the Swiss Jura at 1679 m. From here, hikers can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the Alps, including the legendary Mont Blanc.
Minimum 8, maximum 10 participants; price: CHF 60 for students, CHF 80 for teachers, PATs and other staff.
Good physical condition and suitable equipment are required for this walk. The indicated walking time on the first day is 6 hours 20 minutes, on the second day 4 hours 40 minutes. We adopt the pace of the slowest person.
