EPFL’s Educational Affairs office (DAF) provides an array of support services for students to help them manage university life. We coordinate new student integration and give social, psychological and spiritual assistance to those who need it. We also takes steps to accommodate disabled students and student athletes, and we promote careers in science and engineering – especially among young women. Through the DAF, students and faculty can take language courses and get help with their job search. Faculty can also benefit from teaching advice and support based on the latest advancements in educational research. All of our activities are designed to help implement the educational strategy set out by EPFL’s Senior Management. The DAF also generates data and statistics to help inform decision-making at our school.
