EPFL’s Direction, working in conjunction with the associate vice presidents (AVPs), the Delegate of the Provost for Student Relations (DP-RE) and the deans of EPFL’s schools and of the CDM, has set up an interim arrangement to cover his duties for the period from 1 April to 31 December 2026. Those duties will be assigned as follows starting on 1 April:
- Stéphanie P. Lacour (VPS) will serve as the substitute for the President.
- Matteo Galli will support the AVPs and coordinate VPA meetings and projects.
- The deans will have a direct link to the President.
- Each AVP will have a direct link to a member of the Direction.
- Other VPA units (academic committees, associated campuses, information science, the library and EPFL archives) will also report directly to a member of the Direction.
