About the DP-RE
Communication across the EPFL community is an essential ingredient for maintaining the quality of EPFL as a stimulating home to education and research. The primary mandate of the Delegate of the Provost is to guarantee a link between the student body and the Provost. This also demands constant exchange and a fruitful collaboration with relevant units in the other Vice Presidencies, notably the Vice Presidency for Human Development.
The Delegate of the Provost guarantees such interaction within the EPFL Direction, as the main point of contact for students and EPFL-recognized student associations. The Office of Associative Affairs accompanies and supports these associations to ensure all the necessary flow of information. Specific services to support the student body are offered through the Students Affairs Office (SAE), which works closely with the Associate Vice Presidency for Education (AVP-E) to ensure the best possible learning experience for our students, in a healthy and respectful environment that fosters both academic values and human interactions.
Units
The Student Affairs supports excellence at EPFL by promoting integration, academic success, and empowerment. It is aimed at students, doctoral candidates, and the staff members responsible for supporting them.
The Office of Associative Affairs encourages and facilitates associative initiatives and projects designed to liven up the campus. Member associations benefit from a range of services and tools to help them implement important projects, even with limited financial resources.
