The goal of the project is to evaluate energy consumption of mobile device with multiple interfaces (3G+WiFi).
Energy consumption will be measured and compared in different scenarios: utilization of one interface, concurrent utilization of several interfaces, elastic traffic, non-elastic traffic, different mobility patterns…
The work will include installation of MPTCP patch [1, 2], installation of energy consumption benchmark, traffic generator.
Good programming skills are required for this project.
