Coherent LSWT structures at meso-scales and their effect on the energy flux estimation

Different types of coherent structures, in a wide range of scales, are formed in the marine atmospheric boundary layer, air-water interface, and the lake mixing layer.

Our ECOL unique field platforms enable the measurements of such structures at the surface of inland water bodies.

The illustration shows the use of a BLIMP-ZiviCat measurement platform and instrumentation for meso-scale studies over lakes.
