Opening for Postdoctoral Researcher in Physical Limnology
Our ECOL lab is active in the study of physical lake processes. Present field work includes the investigation of winter cooling, river inflow, and air-water exchange. All fieldwork is complemented by 3D numerical modelling of lake hydrodynamics.
We wish to extend and reinforce these different projects. We seek a motivated postdoc with experience in designing and carrying out independent field campaigns and capable of operating our state-of-the-art remote sensing and fine-scale measurement instruments and equipment.
- PhD degree in physical limnology, oceanography or environmental fluid mechanics, including (extensive) field experience
- Advanced competencies in large data set analysis and a strong publication record
- You are proficient in English, French is an asset
