Leaving Geneva Airport by train

Geneva airport is not too big, so finding your way should be quite easy.

Once you exit the Geneva airport baggage claim and customs, just turn left into the main arrival hall, follow the blue and signs with a train symbol and walk to the end of it, where you will get through the glass revolving door. The train station is located on the right after that door – if you are lost, ask anyone for help or else, get to the CFF desk on the right hand-side after the revolving door.

Also, Swiss National Railroad Company (SBB-CFF) timetable search tool will give all the information you need to safely reach the EPFL from almost any city in Europe.

Enter the name of the departure place in the “From” field and put Renens or Lausanne in the “To” field.

When landing in Geneva airport and if you happen to be short or not to have any Swiss francs (CHF), there is a currency exchange counter in the arrival lounge as well as in the train station along with a small variety of eateries if you want to grab something to eat and drink.
