Students concerned
Following the introduction of the tripling of tuition fees (see information on the page Tuition fee and other fees), a transitional financial support measure is being implemented in case of an increase when transitioning from the EPFL bachelor’s degree to the EPFL master’s degree:
- For students who started their studies at EPFL before the academic year 2025-2026
- In cases of financial difficulties

Allowance amount
If granted, the maximum amount awarded will be the increase in fees, which is 2x the semester fee per semester.
