How to log in ‒ Educational initiatives ‐ EPFL

Noto uses Switch_edu-ID (edu-ID) to authenticate its users.
To use noto, you need :

an edu-ID account
to be part of an organisation (EPFL, UNIL, etc.) that can be linked to edu-ID
to set up the link between your organisation and your edu-ID account

Setting up your account

Please follow these steps:

Go to https://eduid.ch and login if you have an existing account (or create a new one)
Once logged in, go to the “Organisations” tab, as shown below:
Click on “Add an organisational identity“, as shown below:
Select your organisation from the list and follow the instructions.
Repeat for any other organisation you wish to add to your edu-ID account

Once you have successfully linked your organisations to your edu-ID account, please logout from edu-ID and connect to Noto again.

To secure your account Switch recommends the activation of multi-factor authentication and at least one account recovery method.

This means that to log in on noto you will need an authenticator app on your phone or laptop.
