Production of Educational Material

EPFL supports the creation of high-quality educational content through MOOCs, professional video production, and enriched course materials. Since 2012, over 150 MOOCs have been produced, reaching more than 3 million learners worldwide. Our video studios and expert staff assist instructors in creating full courses or enhancing classroom content. We also transform videos into structured course materials—digital or print-ready—to support effective learning and easy review.

Video Production

The Center for Digital Education operates 2 studios with editing staff ready for EPFL teachers. We can produce high quality videos for entire MOOCs (apply to a call from the DRIL fund), but we can also give you a hand in producing a few lectures for your class, or edit classroom recordings.

Course Materials

We produce course material from your videos. Course material facilitate the compilation of video content into written form, allow for note-taking, summarizing, and rapid retrieval of specific course segments. They serve as a basis for retaining and revising material. They can be used in electronic format (note-taking on keyboard, click to corresponding video) or in paper format (note-taking by hand, QR code to corresponding video).
