Most of the time, Poseidon does not take care of the installation for professional softwares. However, for EPFL students only , there are exceptions :

Matlab is available on this page: https://soft-epfl.epfl.ch/students/matlab (Accessible from EPFL network or via VPN | approx. 6GB)
This edition ( MATLAB & Simulink Standard Version ) is available for Linux (64bits), Mac OSX (64bits) and Windows (32 and 64bits) operating systems and comes with more than 50 toolboxes.

Prior to contacting MathWorks Technical Support, we kindly ask you to retrieve your MATLAB version and license number by typing the MATLAB command “ver”.

Each year, during January, you’ll have to renew your MATLAB license by following the steps from this knowledge article.

In this case, the above licenses do not apply to you. You may however have access to full versions of these softwares on Distrilog .
