Procurement Department

Strategic and responsible acquisitions at the service of EPFL

The Purchasing Department is positioned as a generator of innovative ideas for sustainable, efficient and ambitious purchasing, thus creating resources to be used for research and education. A key role for efficient resource management.

How can we guarantee responsible purchasing while optimising costs? Which suppliers best meet EPFL's quality and sustainability criteria? How can we simplify and secure the procurement processes? These questions, and many others, are at the heart of the daily work of the staff of the Purchasing Department. Thanks to their expertise, they support the EPFL teams in implementing appropriate and efficient solutions in compliance with the federal law on public procurement.
