Forma Urbis: Archaeology, anthropology, and construction

Over the course of the week, students will work on a collective work on the permanence of the ancient city, integrating the specific contributions of their respective disciplines. Questions relating to the emergence of “fragments” of the ancient city will be explored through a dialectical approach, bringing together history, archaeology, anthropology, construction, photography and architectural design.

please note : accommodation, materials, local transportation and tickets for visits are provided by the school, while students are responsible for their own transport from Lausanne to Rome, Italy.

Teaching team: Reda Berrada, Prof. Nicola Braghieri, Prof. Florence Graezer Bideau, Anna Karla De Almeida Milani, Aurélie Terrier
