Rolex Learning Center, EPFL > here
(Discussion takes place mainly in French, but questions in English are welcome)
Should an innovation be useful, meet a need, or anticipate one? Is how it’s designed (collaboratively or solo, taking into account its environmental impact, etc.) a factor? If we only wanted to see “good” innovations on the market, what criteria would we need to set? And how would that be different from how things are developed now?
The discussion is open with:
- Lara Gervaise, engineer and co-founder of Virtuosis, a start-up that analyzes voice using AI.
- Dominique Vinck, sociologist of science and innovation.
Moderation: Anne Laure Gannac, journalist at the EPFL College of Humanities and RTS.
