The African Cities Lab first annual summit will take place on May 23rd and 24th of 2023. For a first edition, this global event will be held both online and on-site in Cotonou, Ben Guerir and Kumasi.

One of the main objectives of this international conference is to increase the scope and outreach of academic research activities related to African smart cities development.

With more than 2,000 attendees, the African Cities Lab – 2023 Summit unites an intergenerational and multisectoral community to create smart, sustainable and inclusive cities in Africa.

 

La première édition de l’African Cities Lab Summit a pour thème “Datafrication : exploiter la puissance des données pour repenser les modèles de villes africaines et améliorer le cadre de vie“. Elle permettra de présenter les opportunités liées à la collecte de données pour les services urbains tels que la mobilité, la construction, la sécurité, la santé, la gestion urbaine ou encore le tourisme.
