Description
The goal of this project is to develop methods that would allow the transmission of meta-data over the video-channel. This meta-data would allow communication between two webcams. This communication over video channel can be used for various purpose like video-stream authentication by watermarking, embedding of motion information etc. As this meta-data has to be encoded as part off the video channel that can be strongly compressed, main challenge in the project is to develop methods that would allow metadata encoding so that it does not lose its meaning after compression and decompression.
