Research at MCS
The basic approach of MCS’s research is the union of material and structural engineering sciences.
Current research topics at MCS include :
- Ultra-high performance fibre reinforced concretes (UHPFRC) and their application as durable maintenance interventions
- Dynamic behaviour, remaining fatigue life and safety examination of concrete bridges
- Concrete bridge condition forecast and maintenance strategies for civil structures
- Social perception of vulnerable civil infrastructure.
