Bufo bufo (common toad)
The location of the common toads (Bufo Bufo) habitats were collected from the merging of the databases from Marville project (HEPIA) funded by the OFEV and the DGNP, and from the Coordination Center for the Amphibian and Reptile Protection in Switzerland (Karch Geneva section).
However, the located ponds are mostly public. Therefore, a collaborative WebGIS platform URBANGENE has been built in order to essentially collect the locations of the private ponds.
Thus, 41 ponds were selected and 389 Bufo bufo tadpoles were sampled.
