This research topic is at the core of the research activities of the laboratory. It refers to the development of the technologies and the methodologies for the operation, control and protection of modern power distribution networks. Specific subjects refers to PMU-based situation awareness for the monitoring protection and control these grids as well as composable method for real-time control of active distribution networks with explicit power setpoints.
