Venue
The school will be held in the ELA1 Lecture room on the EPFL campus. To find the room, you can use the EPFL map available at: https://plan.epfl.ch/. On Google Maps, you find it by searching the coordinates: 46°31’10.1″N 6°33’52.2″E.
Transports
- Reach Lausanne by plane: the closest international airport is Genève Aéroport. Once at the airport, Lausanne is reachable with a 45′ journey by train.
- Reach Lausanne by train: timetables and tickets are available on the SBB website. You may find some taxis in front of the train station any time of the day and night. Some of them accept payments with a credit card.
- The closest underground line stop is “EPFL”, line M1. The city is generally served by a very dense public transport network (t-l). If you are staying in a hotel, ask for the Lausanne Transport Card, which entitles you to use local public transport for free during your stay. Late at night or early in the morning, make use of the taxibus, cheaper than regular taxis.
Lodging
Speakers and participants who received accommodation support will be staying at the Starling Hotel, Rte Cantonale 31, 1025 Saint-Sulpice (approx. 5 minutes on foot from campus).
Meals
Lunches from Monday to Friday will be provided at the FoodLab Alpine restaurant, inside EPFL Campus. There will be a social dinner on Thursday 6th July at 20:00.
