Students with children

Information

You are a student and you are pregnant. You are wondering how you are going to organize your studies and your maternity leave. There are several possibilities. We invite you to contact the Social consultation [email protected] who will be able to assist you with the process.

The protection of pregnancy and maternity is an important concern for our school, and all necessary measures are taken in the event of a suspected risk to the health of the mother and child, in accordance with the Maternity Protection Ordinance (ref. 822.111.52).

Expectant mothers should notify the EPFL Security, Safety and Facilities Operations (DSE) as soon as possible, as the first few months of pregnancy are the most critical, so that protective measures can be put in place quickly.

Your request is guaranteed to be kept confidential.
