Idea Box will encompass discussion forums, brainstorming sessions, and thought challenges. These will be about research, activities and technologies and their potential impacts, especially in developing nations.
The idea box axis is envisioned as providing intellectual support for all of the YIP activities. Any good program of innovation and service requires honest and frank discussion before taking any decision. We hope that in the Idea box sessions we are able to collect the best ideas from the EPFL community, and Lausanne in general and to realize our intentions. We also hope to attract recruits for various workshops and internship plans during these sessions.
YIP proposes 6 sessions for 2014-15 in the following fields:
1. Clean water
2. Hygiene and Waste disposal
3. Healthcare
4. Sustainable Energy
5. Education
6. Employment and Self Reliance
We also plan to have online forum sessions and also we will have monthly meetings for brainstorming.
