Divyanshu is a PhD student jointly associated with UNIL and EPFL. He works in computational oncology, and focuses on understanding adaptive mechanisms in cancer therapy. He comes from Lucknow, the city of nawabs and kebabs. Beyond work, he likes involving himself in sports and fitness activities.

Riddha is a Ph.D. student of Computational and Quantitative Biology at the Brain Mind Institute, School of Life Sciences, EPFL. He develops robotics platforms for training fruit flies to solve complex cognitive tasks. He’s passionate about social equity, motorcycles, cooking, and coding.

Ojaswita is doing her M.Sc. in Chemistry from University of Geneva and is currently a Master’s Thesis student in the Materials Science & Engineering department of EPFL. Her research focuses on synthesis and optical characterization of nanomaterials in Biomedicine. Apart from work, she enjoys dancing, travel, and watching cinema. She is from Lucknow, but has her roots in Uttarakhand and J&K.

Dhanush, a PhD student in the Department of Materials Science at EPFL, hails from Hyderabad. His research focuses on the development of sustainable cement and concrete. Beyond his academic endeavors, he enjoys traveling, watching and playing football, cricket, racket sports and board games. Within YUVA, he handles the communication and outreach of the organization

Logistics Manager

Prabhu is a PhD student at the Institute of Bioengineering. He hails from Cuttack, Odisha in India. He works with bioinstrumentation and correlative microscopy to study nanoscale biology. He enjoys playing outdoor sports, travelling and reading books.

Arvind is pursuing his Doctoral studies at the University of Lausanne in Quantitative biology. He comes from Vadodara a cultural city of Gujarat, India but his origin is from Kerala. His mother tongue is Tamil. He handles the Finance of YUVA.

Coming from Kolkata (India) Ayush is a Ph.D. student of the Doctoral Program in Energy, and he works at the Paul Scherrer Institute in the Energy and Environment Research Division. By virtue of his work and education, he has lived in 12 different cities, in 4 different countries, across 3 different continents. In his free time, he likes to cook, and volunteer.

Kiruthika is a PhD student at SV EPFL working in the field of structural immunology. She hails from Chennai, India. She has a spectrum of shifting interests but currently she is passionate about hiking, cooking and biking. She is an anime enthusiast too!
