YUVA – Indians Association organizes several Indian cultural events like Holi, Diwali, Bollywood workshops, Independence Day celebrations, etc. These are occasions for all of EPFL, and interested persons around Lausanne, to come together and enjoy the festivities. It is also a way to demonstrate the rich heritage and culture of India.
YUVA has organized a number of cultural events for Indians and non-Indians on campus, for the past five years, including an annual ‘Diwali: Festival of Lights’ event under the name ‘Yuvaali’. This has been a landmark event of YUVA, welcoming more than 120 guests last year. YUVA’s Cultural section actively participates in campus events such as Vivapoly and Semaine du Monde with a lot of enthusiasm.
