Cognitive Landscapes

new in 2026

Cognitive Landscapes explores how brainwave dynamics can inspire new models for urban design. By moving beyond object-based planning toward temporal and topographical approaches, this course investigates how EEG-measured brain activity, shaped by music and natural stimuli, can be translated into physical urban landscapes.
Through analysis, design, and fabrication, students will test whether cognitive patterns can generate urban forms that embody adaptability, variability, and systemic coherence.
