The CytoFLEX is a 4-laser and 14-detector instrument that is also equipped with an automated sampler. The CytoFLEX optical detectors are Avalanche PhotoDiodes (APDs) instead of classical photomultiplier tubes (PMTs), which results in improved sensitivity, especially in the far red, lower noise and excellent linearity. Data is collected over a wide dynamic range or 7.2 decades.
The automated sampler is compatible with 96-well plates.
Cytoflex is placed in BSL-2 room, thus even BSL-2 samples can be run on this machine at the moment.
