We are excited to have two new lab members with us for the next few months! They are Marion Peillon and Mattéo Marcel Dumont, who are visiting master students from INSA Lyon.
Marion will work with our scientist Christoph Bachofen on the URBTREES project, looking at the transpirational cooling potential of trees in an urban environment, whereas Mattéo will work with PhD student Thibaut Juillard on the “Species invasiveness in the Anthopocene” project, looking at the influence of the temperature on the photosynthetic performance on the windmill palm (Trachycarpus fortune).
We give them both a warm welcome to the PERL group and wish them all the best during their research stay in Lausanne.
