One of the main mandates at LRS is the management of the controlled area, its labs, and the three nuclear facilities located in EPFL’s PH building:
- CROCUS: the experimental teaching and research reactor
- LOTUS: the shielded irradiation cavity
- CARROUSEL: the water tank hosting a strong neutron source.
- Spectrometry lab
