Double Deck

The Double Deck project includes the transformation of the Esplanade and the renovation of the Coupole. Located at the heart of the campus, this project is a central element in the future of education at EPFL.

It also brings about some changes for campus users during the four years of construction, from 2025 to 2029.

Demolition is over, long live construction

— After an intense summer period, demolition and special works are drawing to a close. The Double Deck site is now preparing to enter its construction phase.

Double Deck: Status Update

— The demolition of the former shelter is progressing well and remains on schedule. Starting September 23, work will once again finish at 5:30 pm. Demolition work will also exceptionally take place this Saturday, September 20.

Double Deck: construction until 6 p.m.

— Work on the Double Deck project will continue until 6 p.m. over the next few weeks to keep the project on schedule — which, for now, remains on track.
