- Focus primarily on room listings on the UNIL-EPFL portal
- Explore student’s halls (they do not require a Swiss guarantor)
- Check other platforms and websites for room rentals
- Be aware of the significant administrative requirements if you decide to go through real estate agencies (a Swiss guarantor is required for international students)
Finally, be wary of offers that seem too good to be true and never pay any money without a solid guarantee.
