This winter season, the EPFL Club Montagne is pleased to organized again 5 ski touring outings. It will consist of 4 single day-tour in Valais and one weekend with a night in a hut and a summit at 3798 m (Pigne d’Arolla). All of these outings will be supervised by two professional guides!
The number of places is limited, so hurry up! The registrations will close on the 12.12.2019, then the full payment of each outing will be asked to confirm the registration.
Warning! For the weekend outing, it is required that you participate to at least one day-tour so that the guide knows you before the two days tour.
About the equipment :
Club Montagne will rent as usual the DVA / Avalanche kit (beacon, probe & shovel) (see list).
Unfortunately, we do not rent the touring skis anymore. But we have negotiated a special 20% reduction on the rental for top quality equipment at the Yosemite shop in Lausanne for the holder of the Club Montagne membership card (more info here).

Important:
- Outings will take place regardless of weather!
- The location of the day-outings may vary depending on the weather conditions. The definitive location will be communication the week before the outing.
- Each participant is responsible for its own mean of transportation. The Club will encourage and facilitate car sharing before each outing.
- You will have to take a Lunch (pic-nic) with you.
- If the outing take place near a ski resort, an extra cost of (max 35.-) may be required to take a one-way ticket for the ski lifts.
- The outings will be led in French, but the guides also speak some English.
