What do I need to open a bank account?
- Permit or attestation de residance (the certificate you receive when you apply for Permit, and on which your address in Switzerland is written)
- Identity Card or passport.
At the Internef building of UNIL you can find a branch of BCV. Other banks are UBS, postFinance, BCV,Raiffessen, you can search a bit before you decide. For postFinance if you are students, they don’t ask for the permit of residence, just the passport and proof that you are students (enrolment certificate).
Attention! Cash withdrawl with greek credit card can be quite expensive (~5€/withdraw depending on the bank).
