What is a Green Lab?
In a few words, the green lab of the future produces high-quality research with an environmental impact that does not exceed planetary limits. Particular attention is paid to minimizing and optimizing the use of resources.
To reduce the impact of research activities, EPFL Sustainability establishes general guidelines and provides resources applicable to all faculties. The SV Sustainability Office offers tailored suggestions and recommendations specific to the School of Life Sciences, aiming to help you meet your experimental needs while minimizing environmental impact as much as possible.
